This week would have been the 3rd anniversary of owning our home, mortgage free. However, we sold our home and moved to a different town where we are now renting a house.
Last October, I posted about the fall foliage on Mt. Lemmon:
The trees on Mt. Lemmon spoke to me. Just like they let go of their leaves, what could I release that no longer serves its purpose and, moreover, could be damaging? My most immediate thought was my truck, which was (and still is) in the shop, again! Time to let go? I also thought about where I liveāpros and cons.
As to my truck, I still have it and still wonder about getting rid of it (I think I’ll keep wondering on that one a while longer). As to where we lived, we decided to let that leaf go. Paid off or not, our house was no longer a good match for us, and I certainly did not mind selling into a seller’s market.
And once again, the trees on Mt. Lemmon are shedding their leaves, reminding me to ask, “Of what can I let go?” I know, I know–my truck.
With Love,
