In a hunched over position, an old man gliding slowly in my direction on rollerblades looked up at me with a blank stare. I said, “Hello” with a smile, and without expression or response, he continued on his way. He had no idea who I was, but I knew who he was.
Meet Slomo! About a decade ago, I watched this video and thought, “This guy is onto something.” Slomo is in his early eighties, now, still rollerblading on the Pacific Beach boardwalk. I’m glad I got to see him last month, living his best life!
