I noticed the other day that my insurance premiums had skyrocketed. Upon calling my insurer, I learned that now that our minor son is a licensed operator, our rates will be more than double what they have been. Wonderful! For those of my readers with younger children, please put a tickler in your calendar some years out to remind yourself to budget for insurance rate shock once the kiddos get their licenses!
